1. Scope of Services

I provide custom WordPress development, including but not limited to theme customization, plugin integration, and site maintenance.

  • Specific project deliverables, timelines, and fees will be outlined in a separate Project Proposal or Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Any requests outside the original scope will be subject to additional fees.

2. Client Responsibilities

To ensure project success, the Client agrees to:

  • Provide all necessary branding assets (logos, images, copy) in a timely manner.
  • Secure and maintain their own hosting and domain registration (unless otherwise agreed upon).
  • Provide administrative access to the WordPress dashboard and hosting environment as needed.

3. Payment Terms

  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of [e.g., 50%] is required before work commences.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon project completion and prior to the transfer of ownership or “go-live.”
  • Late Fees: Payments delayed by more than [Number] days may incur a late fee of [Amount/%].

4. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: Upon full payment, the Client owns the final website design and custom code.
  • Usage Rights: I retain the right to showcase the completed project in my professional portfolio and marketing materials.
  • Third-Party Licenses: Any premium themes or plugins used remain the property of their respective creators. The Client is responsible for maintaining active licenses for these tools.

5. Revisions and Feedback

6. Warranty and Liability

  • Limitation of Liability: I am not liable for any lost profits, data loss, or third-party hacks occurring after the project has been handed over.

7. Termination
